Hacking the Gigabit City, an event this weekend challenging participants to dream up and build apps that use Kansas City’s gigabit internet connection, is about to wind down at the Google Fiber Space (above). Team presentations kick off at 4 p.m., at which time the group is hosting a Google+ Hangout for those who want to tune in from afar.
The first-time event is being organized by Mozilla, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, US Ignite and KC Digital Drive.
