Come along for the ride on the Silicon Prairie Awards bus

Last year, we learned a valuable lesson from our friends at Goodsmiths: the startups that travel together, celebrate together. Well, at least we took some sort adaptation of the phrase, when we learned the impact—and fun—of the community’s bonding road trip to the Silicon Prairie Award show.

The Dwolla team was one of many Des Moines-based teams that enjoyed the ride to the 2012 Awards event.

NOTE: Bus tickets are currently sold out for the event.

Thanks to the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce we’re keeping the tradition along for the ride and chartering our own bus to the second annual Des Moines-based ceremony on Thursday, August 29. And, as an added perk of the Prairie Party Bus, complimentary WiFi, locally-brewed beverages and boutonnieres and corsages for each rider will be provided to jumpstart the journey to the festivities.
