Silicon Prairie News is looking for a promising part time news editor to fill a new role for our site. We are looking for a current student, recent graduate, or experienced editor with superior writing and editing skills, a strong sense of personal responsibility and an interest in regional tech entrepreneurship.
Qualified applicants will have some experience in journalism, a working knowledge of AP Style, and know their way around WordPress and Google Analytics.
Daily responsibilities include editing incoming stories from freelance writers and photographers, maintaining our style guide, writing breaking news stories and reporting on site metrics.
