MADISON, WI – ImageMoverMD has raised $4 million in Series B financing.

HealthX Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures and Cultivation led the February 11 deal, with Colle Capital Partners and Wisconsin Investment Partners participating. The company will use the investment to expand its customer network and technology offering.

ImageMoverMD medical imaging software is designed to improve medical image management and collection. The platform solution integrates photos, videos and medical images with enterprise imaging and electronic health record (EHR) systems. A provider can capture an image of a patient’s condition on a smartphone for instant integration into the EHR and Picture Archiving and Communication System and Vendor Neutral Archive (PACS/VNA) systems using a HIPPA-compliant workflow that eliminates all data from the smartphone.

“The amount of frustration and wasted time that dealing with medical images on CDs is still causing patients and providers in 2019 is crazy,” said Darcey Nett, CEO at ImageMoverMD in a press release. “We’re excited to announce that we now offer our uploader to health systems for free to help in the first step of making CDs a thing of the past, while allowing providers to try out some of our other solutions and see the other ways that medical imaging can improve.”

ImageMoverMD, was founded in 2013 by Gary Wendt, MD and Richard Bruce, MD.
