Five Nebraska companies demoed their companies last week at the 7th NMotion Demo Day at the Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln.
The event was an opportunity for early-stage companies to practice their pitches and garner more exposure during the public event.
NMotion’s 42 portfolio companies have collectively raised $10.56 million in financing, generated 46 jobs, and filed over 20 utility and provisional patents.
NMotion has partnered with nationally ranked accelerator gener8tor to operate the programs. NMotion has just opened up the application for its second of three free programs (Spring, Summer, and Fall) in 2019 through the partnership. All programs are modeled after the gener8tor free seven-week pre-accelerator program.
The Summer program will be industry agnostic, as was the Spring program. The Fall program will be focused on companies innovating in FoodTech and AgTech.

Summer program dates are July 18 – September 5. Fall program dates are October 24 – December 12.
NMotion is seeking high-growth-potential, scalable startups for the programs. Applicants will ideally have begun work to validate the value proposition with customers and/or have an early product or MVP.
