KANEKO is a non-profit organization located in Omaha’s Old Market District. Envisioned as a gift to the community and the region by internationally acclaimed artist and founder Jun Kaneko, KANEKO explores and supports creativity in all of its expressions, in the arts, sciences, humanities and philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Manage KANEKO website
- Post new information and manage old information
- Make regular updates as needed
- Maintain and develop design integrity and beauty of the website
- Network through social media to promote organization among web users
Required Skills and Experience
- Graphic design
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Design
- Writing
- Knowledge of Mac OS X
- Knowledge of social media for promotional purposes
Personal Qualities
- Hard worker, creative, artistic, good communication skills, team player, willingness to contribute outside of basic duties, personal initiative and drive, flexibility, patient advisor of computer-related information
Compensation and hours
- Schedule may vary during different periods
- Range of work hours from 10 to 25 hours weekly
- Negotiable hourly wage
- Work hours divided between onsite and offsite as required by circumstances
