Upon publishing yesterday’s Empty Room post, I remembered unreleased videos of Mary Wees’ September installation, 25 Days of Building.

In the first, she talks about her experiences and takeaways from the project, and in the second she gives a tour of the art that was created in the space.

During the month of October, Mary’s objective was to bring together 25 artists to build a gallery in 25 days, with one rule: once an artist begins his or her contribution, he or she will need to participate in the collaboration for the remaining days.

To learn more about the installation, visit my original post, Mary Wees Collaborates with 25 Artists for ‘25 Days of Building’, and Mary’s blog, 25 days’ Blog.

I filmed these interviews Tuesday, September 29th.
