Starting with AIM Institute’s Happy Hour at 5 p.m. tomorrow, Omaha has quite the lineup of events these next two weeks.

If you weren’t able to make it to Big Omaha or were there and missed out on exploring Scott Blake’s Barcode Art – for example, barcode Gary Vaynerchuk – I strongly encourage you to stop by his studio this weekend. Three Omaha artists will be opening their art studios to the public on Saturday, May 29 from noon to 5 p.m.
- Scott Blake is at 2316 North 52nd Street. Parking is available on Erskine Street and Country Club Avenue.
- Wanda Ewing is at 1401 North 52nd Street. Parking is available on Hamilton and Charles Streets.
- Bill Hoover is at 4651 Douglas Street. Parking is available on Douglas Street. (Bill will also be open on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.)
This event is free and open to the public. Guests are to travel at their own pace between the locations.

KANEKO is located at 1111 Jones Street in the Old Market district of Omaha.

Dr. Peter Schultz, co-investigator for NASA’s LCROSS Mission, will present Shooting the Moon: Results from the LCROSS Mission.
The program, offered in partnership with NASA Nebraska Space Grant, is part of the KANEKO Conversations with Scientists series and is free and open to the public.

TBD Meetups: REWORK June 7 & foursquare June 16
It looks like there’s been a set of meetups created across the U.S. for both REWORK, a recently released book by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson of 37signals, and foursquare, a location based social network. I’m not quite sure who’s taking the lead on organizing these – venues still need to be chosen – but they both look like promising meetups.
