Next Saturday is TEDxOmaha, so I thought it would be fitting this week to feature a video from another TEDx event. This talk is from TEDxSydney, and it’s of Nigel Marsh talking about work-life balance:
The reality of the society that we’re in, is that there are thousands and thousands of people out there, leading lives of quiet, screaming desperation, where they work long, hard hours at jobs they hate, to enable them to buy things they don’t need, to impress people they don’t like. And it’s my contention that going to work on a Friday in jeans and a t-shirt, isn’t really getting to the nub of the issue.
Enjoy the video, and we’ll see you next weekend at TEDxOmaha.
