TAI now accepting nominations for 2011 Prometheus Awards

The Technology Association of Iowa‘s annual Prometheus Awards banquet is still several months away but nominations opened today for the 15 categories to be honored. According to TAI, this awards showcase honors companies and individuals who represent the best and brightest in technology and business and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation.

Here are the categories seeking nominations:

  • Software Company of the Year (Small/Medium)
  • Software Company of the Year (Large/Enterprise)
  • IT Service Provider of the Year
  • Health IT Innovation of the Year
  • Clean Technology Company of the Year
  • Best User of Technology
  • Innovation in Teaching
  • CIO/CTO/CSO of the Year
  • CEO of the Year
  • Student Innovation of the Year
  • Break Out Award
  • Outstanding Startup Company of the Year
  • Life Sciences Company of the Year
  • Technology Company of the Year (Small/Medium)
  • Technology Company of the Year (Large/Enterprise)

Nominations close January 24, 2011 and winners will be announced at a black tie “admired” awards gala at The Meadows Events and Conference Center in Altoona on April 7, 2011.
