This week’s Sunday Video should be of particular interest to the members of the recently established Hacks/Hackers Heartland, a group bringing together journalists and developers to discuss, think up and act on ideas. The presenter featured below, Nick Bilton, shows off projects from his day job at The New York Times and then shares some of his own research and observances from his book, “I Live in the Future & Here’s How It Works.”

Whether or not you’re interested in the current state or future of journalism, I encourage you to watch Bilton’s 17-minute presentation from PopTech 2009. I especially appreciate his comparisons of past technological evolutions to those we’re seeing today.
