Google: For now, Zave Networks team will continue to work in KC

Following up on a Zave Networks announcement late Friday afternoon that the Kansas City-based digital coupon and incentives platform had been acquired by Google, we’ve received email confirmation from a Google spokesperson that said they’re “thrilled to welcome the Zave Networks team to Google.”

Also in the email correspondence, it was confirmed that for now, the Zave Networks team would continue to work in Kansas City, Kansas, and will join the internet giant’s efforts to connect businesses and consumers. While future plans were not revealed, the email stated Google will be working with Zave Networks to improve the whole commerce experience for users and merchants.

“They have developed an impressive platform to connect consumers with coupons, special offers and reward programs for their favorite businesses,” the Google spokesperson said, “and we look forward to their joining our Commerce team.”
