Christopher New directs our Thinc Iowa 2012 live stream.
On the eve of our inaugural Big Kansas City event, we’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Quadrant5, a new venture from Des Moines entreprenuer Christopher New, to live stream each of this year’s Big Series events along with our Silicon Prairie Awards in August.
New has assisted us in various video capacities over the last few years through his production company, Event1 Video. We’re now excited for what he’s building in Quadrant5 and to have him on board for each of our events in 2013.
Thanks to our sponsor
Here’s more from New about what he’s developing with Quadrant5:
Quadrant5 is a new venture to create and distribute web-delivered television and radio programs. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Quadrant5.tv combines its own in-house shows (AM Reboot, Ballot Box Office, The Flop, FFwd) with independent content under a single marketing engine. In 2013, the Quadrant5 network will facilitate the launch of 50 new regular shows.
The Midwest’s latest budding media powerhouse, Quadrant5 is thrilled to launch with the help of Silicon Prairie News, alongside their newest regional conference, Big Kansas City, as the Big Series Media Streaming Partner for all of 2013! AM Reboot, Q5’s flagship program, will kick off each day of the conference, live from the convention floor, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Watch for updates at siliconprairienews.com/live.
Quadrant5 has a full-service studio equipped to produce both single-camera and multi-camera/live projects, from location to post-production. If you have a marketing strategy or commercial media idea that requires the right production value and distribution strategy, inquire at Quadrant5.tv as to how you can produce your very own regular series. Q5 is a content creation endeavor and longtime ambition for founder Chris New, who is owner of production services company Event1 Video and (infrequent) contributor to Silicon Prairie News.
