In time for DEMO Mobile, Travefy boasts a new design.
Travefy, the Lincoln, Neb. startup co-founded by Hudl‘s former development team lead, is set today to unveil its beta product at DEMO Mobile in San Francisco. The company, which we first covered in February, aims to ease the process of booking group travel.
“Planning a group trip can be extremely frustrating,” DEMO executive producer Erick Schonfeld said today in a press release. “Travefy solves many of the key pain points in coordinating group travel—while keeping it simple and fun.”

The company is a part of the event’s Student Alphas Pitches, a program that gives 10 individuals or groups scholarships to present at the notable tech event, at 4:45 p.m. local time. Travefy co-founder David Chait* is currently a Columbia Business School student in New York—upon graduation, he plans to move to Lincoln.
Since we last covered the startup, it overhauled its website and released a new promotional video (below). In March, the company took first place at the A. Lorne Weil Startup Pitch Competition organized by the Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization in New York.
Today’s DEMO event is not being live-streamed. To follow its activity, search #DEMOMobile2013 on Twitter or visit the DEMO Facebook page.
