SPN will return to New York’s Standard Hotel Biergarten, the location of our last gathering in the city.
Silicon Prairie News co-founder Dusty Davidson and I are headed back to New York this month to host a Silicon Prairie Expat Meetup on April 30 at the Standard Hotel Biergarten. During our visit, April 29-May 1, we also plan to get together with several entrepreneurs and investors.
The meetup will be our second Silicon Prairie expat gathering this year—we held one in San Francisco in February—a new regular SPN event made possible by the support of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. We’re especially excited to have the Foundation’s manager of entrepreneurship programs Jon Robinson join us at this meetup.
Thanks to our sponsor
Our New York trip and meetup—and our others elsewhere—are important as we continue the conversations and developing new relationships with key leaders of startup communities across the country.
At the meetup, we plan to share stories of what’s happening in the Silicon Prairie as well as discuss ideas for continuing to increase collaboration between the New York startup community and what’s happening in the heart of the Midwest.
If you’re in or near New York, we hope you’ll stop by to connect with Silicon Prairie expats and non-expats alike—both are invited to join us! To RSVP, vist our event on Facebook.
