In a recently published list, Inc. Magazine named a number of well-known startups as the “8 Silicon Prairie Startups Worth Watching.” Des Moines’ Dwolla, Lincoln-based Bulu Box and Kansas City’s AgLocal all made the list, along with Coralville, Iowa-based Higher Learning Technologies and Omaha’s Ballyhoo Autoware. The magazine also included Chicago startups GrubHub and Food Genius along with Ann Arbor, Mich.-based FarmLogs to its collection of “the most promising Midwest startups setting the bar for the rest.” — Source: Inc.
