Personal

Title of my autobiography: “I really have no idea what I’m doing, but I’ll figure it out.”
Thing I can’t live without: Coffee
Drink of choice: Cappuccino
Last book I read: “Getting to 50/50: How working parents can have it all.”
Ultimate road trip snack: Chips and guac from Chipotle
Entrance song if I was a wrestler: Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins
Celebrity doppelgänger: A few have said Anderson Cooper?
Guilty pleasure band and/or film: Robin Thicke
Chosen career in an alternate reality: Fighter pilot. I feel the need…
Worst OCD tendency: Tangled cords. Drives me nuts. They have to be wrapped properly.
Quote I might have said: “Just don’t screw up.”
Which actor or actress, and why: Clooney. He epitomizes cool in all he does.
Favorite YouTube video: Biking fail

Local

Best place in Lincoln no one knows about: Barrymores
Lincoln’s obligatory tourist stop: Fat man on a bench statue outside Ivanna Cone.
One thing Lincoln has that other Silicon Prairie cities don’t: Relentless small-town feel community.
Best thing going for Lincoln’s startup community:  Energy and fresh minds that are building an idea together.
Last local restaurant I ate at: Borgata
Best meal I’ve had in Lincoln: Blue Orchid thai
Lincoln would be better if… a few less stop lights and a few more freeways. =)

The Startup Scene

Social media pet peeve: Google Glass selfies.
App I’m obsessed with: Podcasts app, it’s not sexy but it’s a lifesaver for making use of the commute to Lincoln.
Silicon Prairie startup crush: RaceNote
Most comfortable startup T-shirt I own: Kiss Metrics or Hudl
Something most people don’t know about me: I love lawn care.
Entrepreneur I most want to grab a drink with: Nationally… Gary Vaynerchuck or Seth Godin
I do what I do because… Building something unique with a talented team is an amazing & challenging experience.
Before I was in startups… I was a professional musician and worked in advertising.
If money wasn’t an object, my next company would be… No clue… yet.
The Silicon Prairie startup scene is missing… more micro breweries with garage doors that open up to a make-shift tasting room. =)
In five years, I’ll…  hopefully be working remotely from Switzerland in true Dusty Davidson style (he spent a month and a half working and living in Paris).
In five years, the Silicon Prairie…  the place that talented people from the coasts come to build cost effective companies with people that truly care about each other.
