Kansas City-based technology company Red Nova Labs (RNL) has expanded their engineering team to include a second office in Denver.
“Denver will be a great place to find more talented developers as we ramp up our tech hiring over the next year or so,” said Adam England, the company’s chief technology officer and veteran of the Kansas City startup scene.
RNL’s new Denver team is working out of the ultra-modern, contemporary coworking space Modworks, located in the heart of downtown. The western expansion comes after the rapid growth of RNL’s self storage technology platform, storEDGE.
“We have over 3,000 facilities using storEDGE in the United States,” said England. “The team at Red Nova Labs never settles for mediocre products, and that relentless focus has helped establish us as leaders in this industry. Our customers love our innovation.”
With increased demand for storEDGE services, RNL has doubled their software development and engineering team over the last two years and plans to add more talented, motivated, and creative developers to the team over the upcoming months.

But RNL isn’t looking to ditch their Kansas City roots anytime soon.
“Kansas City is a fantastic birthplace for startups, and it’s always going to be our home. But as we start taking on more challenging software development work, we’re finding Denver developers have a lot of experience growing platforms like ours,” England said.
RNL provides technology solutions for the niche self storage industry, and the company was recently named one of the best places to work in KC. England says they plan to continue to build a culture that fosters collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in both Denver and Kansas City.
RNL is currently hiring for software engineering positions in both Kansas City and Denver. To check out available positions, visit their careers page at jobs.rednovalabs.com.
“You can never have too many great programmers, and we are lucky to have some of Kansas City’s best at Red Nova Labs,” said England. “We are excited for the opportunity to expand and diversify our engineering team, and Denver offers a great technology hub to grow in.”
