We talked about blogging software, discussed tweeting versus blogging, shared our favorite blogs, and of course, made mention of own blogs. Not everyone in attendance had a blog or updated it frequently, but that was the great part of it. One of the attendees came inspired to begin blogging, and those of us who had experience in it shared with her our recommendations. I learned quite a bit from the other bloggers, and spilled coffee on one them — sorry about that, Joshua.

As I re-wrote that list just now, I remembered the stories behind why everyone started their blog. Those were fun to hear, for example, Dan started the “NebraskaDan” to share stories from his life in Nebraska with his friends in California after he made the move to Omaha.
Where to now and what time? I’m leaning towards an after 5:00 p.m. meetup, likely at a bar. I’m open to suggestions. Hope to see you there — bloggers, nonbloggers, and pen and paper fans alike.
