Des Moines-based startup Dwolla announced Monday that after three months of work, the online payment company will launch real-time payments in private beta. While the blog post announcing the launch offered few details, Dwolla CEO and founder Ben Milne did note the service is currently available to “friends, family and the most active members of the Dwolla network.” The real-time payment system will not change the cost of Dwolla transactions—25 cents for transactions more than $10—according to the company’s blog.
