Starting with AIM Institute’s Happy Hour at 5 p.m. tomorrow, Omaha has quite the lineup of events these next two weeks.
And here’s some good news to start your afternoon: We’ve been given two tickets ($45 value) to give away to tomorrow’s Midlands Venture Forum (MVF) dinner featuring a private equity professionals panel.
To win a ticket, leave a comment below about why you’d like to go – the first two commentors who follow this guideline will be awarded a ticket. MVF events are definitely worth checking out for their in-depth content as well as quality networking opportunities, e.g. a complimentary reception with beer and wine will kick off tomorrow’s dinner.
Also, make sure to check out our events page weekly as we’re constantly adding new ones. If you have an event you feel belongs on the list please email danny@siliconprairienews.com.

TBD Meetups: REWORK June 7 & foursquare June 16
It looks like there’s been a set of meetups created across the U.S. for both REWORK, a recently released book by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson of 37signals, and foursquare, a location based social network. I’m not quite sure who’s taking the lead on organizing these – venues still need to be chosen – but they both look like promising meetups.
