Nick Seguin made time to catch a talk from Frank Abagnale during a 24-hour span at South By Southwest that Seguin was almost always on the go.
12:30 a.m. – Hugs and handshakes with SPN team and Dwolla folks at the Startup Weekend/Twilio/Zaarly party… They finally got there!

8 a.m. – Run and lift at hotel – gotta shake off last night and get some energy!
9:30 a.m. – Finally pick up badge … What does that say about value of official talks vs. hallway conversations at SXSW?
11 a.m. – Session on ‘Indoor Navigation’ – GPS in closed space. Focus was on retail but possibilities endless. Phones already have the sensors, we just need to push tech and open (Cough – Apple – Cough) APIs.
12:30 p.m. – TechCocktail lunch with Nicole Provansal (OC Startup Weekend facilitator).
1 p.m. – Hallway conversation with Shane Reiser (Iowa – Startup Weekend + Kohort) and Adam Hofmann (KC – Zaarly)
3:30 p.m. – Catch Frank. Frank Abagnale (the real catch me if you can guy) talks about fraud, ID theft and leading a good life. Good to mix it up.
5 p.m. – Breather
6 p.m. – SendGrid party. Love hanging out with Startup Weekend Global Sponsors.
8 p.m. – Lean dinner. Small party dinner three miles away from downtown. Focused conversations on product, methodology and measurement.
11:30 p.m. – Re-connect with SPN crew at Gary Vaynerchuk’s (Big Omaha Speaker) #secretwineparty. Hang out with guy in charge of economic development in Iowa. Lean in, yell in ear over dubstep, “Welcome … This … Is economic development.”
It’s now 1:24am…
