2011 was an amazing year for us at Silicon Prairie News. With the addition of four new full-time team members, more than 1,000 blog posts and a healthy number of meetups, parties and other events, it’s safe to say it was a year of tremendous growth and positive change for our company and the greater Silicon Prairie community.
It’s exciting to take a glimpse of some of the highlights from 2011 and pause to reflect on some of the accomplishments and noteworthy happenings from the year.

Over the course of the last three and half years, we have focused on highlighting and supporting the startup community in the Silicon Prairie. Those efforts won’t cease to continue as we begin a new calendar year, and in all honesty, we plan to increase the momentum of activity during 2012.
We’re committed to increasing the quality and consistency of our content as well as making all of our events even better, that means not only Big Omaha and Thinc Iowa, but SPN Meetups, Startup Job Crawls and other events that we have in the works.
Our team has ambitious plans and we’re excited to take things to the next level in 2012. We appreciate you more than words can say. By you reading, sharing, attending, supporting, building, dreaming and doing, you continue to inspire us to do even more.
